Wood Carvings & Clay
from the Hand, Not a Machine
Words are not my only medium. I love carving wood and working with clay. All my carvings are handmade with some combination of chisels, a Dremel, a hand-held router, and an angle grinder. My clay projects are hand-built, no molds. Sometimes I use a wheel, but really I shouldn't. I still suck at that.

 Cat Tree 1I made this from sycamore branches, ash wood (steps), and the cubby and platform are 3/4" plywood. I placed steps around the main post, much like a spiral staircase. Sycamore branches were used for the main post and braces, plywood for basket platform and base.
